London City

Tall buildings, lights, shadows, the old and the new, people, lots of people, always rushing, the town that never sleeps, and me the photographer.

I told myself many times that I have to visit London, armed with patience and with my camera, obviously. Somehow, I failed doing it, maybe because I am not a fan of large busy places.

Last month I had to do it. It wasn't for photographic reasons mainly, but I managed to squeeze a few good hours of photography. I took the camera bag, choose the train and underground and there I was, in London. Once I resolved my main things, I took a long walk through Hyde Park. I took some pictures there, and then took the underground towards London Bridge.

Amazing architecture, the lights against the sky, the metropolitan landscape, glorious in every direction. It was so good to be there. I walked 14 miles that day, I was tired towards the end, but I felt like I wanted to see a bit more. I had to go to the train station though. Some other time... It's a promise!
