Story time
For my second post I'm going to back in time a bit. Not that much for now, I'm leaving the big leap for a future entry. This time I shall return in time just about one year. Before the madness, before the toilet paper shortage, before the empty shelves.
I was recently looking through my "photographic archive" and I found a picture that I never posted before. I don't quite remember why... I'm not sure if I didn't like it enough or I just "forgot" about it.
I was invited to join The Gate's team for their Christmas Party in Amsterdam and I have obviously accepted. I mean... canals, old buildings, great company, how can one say no?
We walked quite a bit and seen a lot of stuff, but I'll fast forward until after dinner. When everybody else left for the hotel and I've started walking by myself trying to find "the" picture. Did a bit of walking, started being cold, but couldn't quit, not yet, I didn't had my image... The same one that I forgot about for almost one year, funny.
Found it! Water, reflections, nice light on the buildings, a boat, stars on the sky. Long exposure, again. I like long exposures, they are so... peaceful, quiet, clean. That's the image and the end of the story, I need to get ready for work!
I could probably add that by the time I got back to the hotel, my nephew fall asleep and because he's sleeping like a log I needed the assistance of the front house staff to open the door for me...
That's it. The blogger; over and out!
